MARRAKECH TO ZAGOEA ITINERARY

Day 1Marrakech » Merzouga Sahara (Camel Trek & Night In desert) [560 km]

Our 2-day desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga begins with a pickup from your hotel or riad. We’ll journey across the Tizi N’Tichka pass, with panoramic views of the mountains and traditional Berber villages, before continuing through Tinjdad, Jerf, and Erfoud to reach the Merzouga desert.

In Merzouga, camels will take us on a peaceful trek through the Erg Chebbi dunes, offering a perfect chance to capture the sunset and try sandboarding. After dinner, we’ll spend the night at a camp in Berber tents, enjoying drum music under a starry sky.

Day 2Merzouga Desert » Rissani » Atlas Mountains » Marrakech [561 km]

After watching the sunrise in the desert, we return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4. After breakfast and a shower at the hotel, we begin our journey back to Marrakech, passing through Berber villages in the Atlas Mountains. The two-day desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga ends when we arrive in Marrakech.

PS: standard desert camp included in the tour price of 59 Euros is very basic. Should you wish to stay at a comfortable camp with hot showers and a guaranteed private tent, there is a supplement of 15,00 Euros per person.
