Today, our 12-day journey from Marrakech takes us to the desert. We’ll ride camels to the towering Erg Chebbi dunes and visit a Berber family, as well as Khamlia village to experience Gnawa music.
We’ll meet Berber nomads and explore a nearby palm oasis. After lunch in Merzouga, we’ll ride camels into the sand dunes to reach our desert camp.
Tonight, we’ll stay in a Sahara camp, where we’ll enjoy Berber drum music under the stars, along with stunning sunset and sunrise views. After a traditional Moroccan dinner, we’ll sleep in desert tents.
Travel to Midelt, stopping at Rissani and Ziz Valley, then cross Errachidia. Spend the night in Midelt.
Depart for Fes, traversing the Middle Atlas Mountains. Feed monkeys in the majestic cedar forests of Azrou, pass through Ifran, and spend the night in Fes.
Discover Fes’s medieval medina with a local guide, visiting the tanneries and ceramics. Enjoy an overnight stay in a traditional riad.
Depart Fes to explore the Roman ruins at Volubilis, enjoy lunch in Meknes, and spend the night in a Rabat hotel.
Explore Rabat’s historic sites before heading to Casablanca. Visit the Hassan II Mosque and enjoy a drink or lunch at Rick’s Café or by the Atlantic Ocean, then continue to Marrakech.
Final shopping in Marrakech and packing before departure to the airport, marking the end of our 12-day trip.

It is roughly 1 hour for sunset and another hour for sunrise the following day. Time depends on season, Day light saving time, and sunset/sunrise time.
You can. a 4×4 will be offered to transfer you from Merzouga lodge to Erg Chebbi desert camp for an extra fee of 30 Euros ( Included in luxury tent option )
There will be a few sand boards available at the camp operator’s lodge to use at leisure ( Availability not guaranteed ). You can ask for one to take to the camp with you. They are free of charge
