Today, we head to Fez, stopping at the ancient Roman site of Volubilis along the way. Next, we’ll explore Meknes, another historic imperial city. After visiting Meknes’s key attractions, we will proceed to Fes for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we’ll explore the medina (old city) of Fes with a local guide. Fes is one of the oldest and largest cities in the world.
We’ll wander through narrow streets filled with the aromas of spices and colorful carpets, along with various Moroccan art products. Highlights include visits to the Royal Palace, tanneries, potters, and other artisans. We’ll enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina before returning to our hotel.
Today, we’ll have an early breakfast before traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Merzouga. Along the way, we’ll enjoy beautiful forests, vast plains, and Berber villages until we reach the Sahara Desert.
We’ll stop for lunch in Midelt, known for its apples, then continue along winding roads with views of the Oued Ziz. Passing kasbahs and palm groves, we’ll arrive in the charming town of Merzouga, the jewel of the Sahara.
In the late afternoon, you’ll ride a camel into the desert to witness a stunning sunset. We’ll spend the night in a camp with delicious food.
After breakfast, we’ll embark on an expedition to the dunes, passing through the Merzouga oases, Berber nomad territory, and Khamlia village.

In the morning, we return to the hotel after watching the sunrise in the desert. After a shower and breakfast, we’ll visit the Rissani Souk.
Next, we head to Alnif and then on to Todra Gorge, where you’ll walk alongside the streams in the canyons. We’ll continue to the Dades Gorges, where we’ll spend the night in a local Riad.
Today, we will journey to the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ouarzazate to visit the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a renowned filming location for movies like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.
Lunch will be served at the Kasbah. In the afternoon, we will cross the Tizi n Tichka pass to reach Marrakech, where we will stay overnight in a Riad.
Continuing our 12-day tour from Tangier, we head to Essaouira after breakfast. This coastal city is historically significant in Morocco.
Upon arrival, explore its ancient streets, museums, and castles, including bronze cannons. In the afternoon, we return to Marrakesh, where we will spend the night in a Riad.
