This 8-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, or round-trip back to Casablanca, offers an incredible Moroccan desert experience. You’ll explore Morocco’s highlights, including the Imperial cities of Marrakech and Fes, the well-preserved archaeological site of Volubilis, and the Sahara Desert.

We will pick you up from the airport or your accommodation in Casablanca to begin our 8-day tour. First, we’ll visit the Hassan Mosque, then continue to Rabat to see the Hassan Tower. After that, we’ll head to Fes for dinner and an overnight stay at a traditional Riad.
After breakfast, we will meet a local guide and spend the day exploring the Medina, the old part of the city. This guided tour includes visits to historic sites like the Jewish quarter, the Royal Palace, the old souks, and the Tanneries.
Continuing our 8-day desert tour from Casablanca, we depart at 8:30 am, passing through Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou, home to wild monkeys. We’ll enjoy watching them in their natural habitat.
We then proceed through the Ziz Valley and Erfoud, famous for its marble fossils, before reaching Merzouga via Rissani, a lively trading hub. Finally, we arrive at the desert.
Today, we’ll explore the Erg Chebbi Dunes in Merzouga, home to nomadic communities. We’ll start with a visit to the seasonal lake of Merzouga and Khamlia for traditional Gnawa music.
Afterward, we’ll explore abandoned mines and a palm oasis. After a local lunch, we’ll return to the guest house for a camel ride through the sand dunes to discover the desert.
After capturing stunning sunrise photos, we return to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. Then, we begin our journey to Dades Valley, passing through Erfoud, famous for its marble fossils, and Jorf, known for its irrigation. Next, we head to Todra Gorges, home to some of the most impressive canyons leading to Dades.
After breakfast, we head to Ouarzazate, passing through Berber villages made of mud and continuing to Skoura, famous for its palm trees.
Next, we visit Ouarzazate, known as Africa’s small Hollywood. Here, we explore the historic Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Studio in the city center. We then travel to Marrakech, stopping at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987, renowned for its appearances in films like “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Gladiator,” and the series “Game of Thrones.”
Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N-Tichka pass, before arriving in Marrakech, where we will drop you off at your accommodation.
Starting at 9:00 AM, the day will focus on exploring the Medina, the historic part of the city.
This guided tour includes visits to key attractions such as Jemaa el Fna square, El Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Menara, and Majorelle Garden.
