Your 3-day Marrakech to Fes desert tour takes you through the eastern half of Morocco in a comfortable, air-conditioned 4WD or minibus. Our guide will pick you up from your Marrakech hotel at 8:30 AM and drive you across the Atlas Mountains to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.

This ancient walled city, with its six kasbahs, offers a glimpse into a past of gladiators, nomads, and old trading markets. After exploring, you’ll have lunch at Ait Ben Haddou.

Next, we head to Ouarzazate, a city known as “The Gateway to the Desert” and famous for films like The Mummy, Lawrence of Arabia, and Gladiator. After a brief café stop, we continue to the Dades Valley, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing night at a traditional riad with a private room, en-suite bathroom, and a delicious Moroccan dinner.

Day 2Dades » Todra Gorges » Erfoud » Merzouga (Night in Desert Camp) [255 km]

After breakfast, we depart from Dades Gorges and head towards the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Along the way, we’ll pass through Berber villages such as Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, where the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet begins. We then continue to Merzouga, where your guide and camels will be ready to take you across the towering sand dunes of the Moroccan Sahara.

You’ll enjoy a camel ride through the dunes as the sun sets, arriving at our nomad desert camp in Erg Chebbi. The evening includes dinner, traditional drum music, and an overnight stay in a nomad tent under the desert stars.

Day 3Merzouga Desert » Ziz Valley » Midelt » Ifran » Fes [467 Km]

Continuing our 3 days Marrakech to Fes desert tour, after you wake up to witness the beautiful scenery of sunrise from the top of the dunes of Erg Chebbi, breakfast will be served at the camp and take a shower then ride the camels again back to the original point as we can transfer you by a 4WD as an alternative to camels, it is up to you.

After being done with Merzouga sightseeing, you’ll be transferred to the next destination to head to Fes through the Ziz Valley, Midelt, Ifrane City known as the little Switzerland of Morocco, and the famed Middle Atlas cedar forest with its Barbery apes in Azrou where you will have a short walk to take pictures… Late afternoon arrival to Fes, drop off at your riad/hotel with amazing stories and unforgettable memories in your mind.
