On our 1-day trip from Marrakech to Imlil village, we will leave early in the morning from your accommodation in Marrakech, heading towards the High Atlas Mountains through Tahnaout, Ghighaya Valley, Moulay Brahim gorges, and Asni.
Upon arrival in Imlil, you’ll explore the Berber villages, walking through fields of walnut, apple, and cherry trees, as well as vegetable gardens.
We’ll then hike up to the village of Armed at 1900 meters, passing a waterfall before stopping for lunch with a view of North Africa’s highest peak, Mount Toubkal (4167m). Afterward, we’ll descend through the Ait Mizan valley, passing by Achayn and Imlil villages, before returning to Marrakech.

It is roughly 1 hour for sunset and another hour for sunrise the following day. Time depends on season, Day light saving time, and sunset/sunrise time.

There will be a few sand boards available at the camp operator’s lodge to use at leisure ( Availability not guaranteed ). You can ask for one to take to the camp with you. They are free of charge
